Area Hot Springs
Of course, our favorite hot spring is Burgdorf, but there are quite a number of them in the area. Some are more developed than others.

Burgdorf
Burgdorf is the oldest and has lodging available. To reach Burgdorf during the summer months take Warren Warren Wagon Road 27 miles north of McCall to the junction #21. The resort is about 2 miles down the gravel road on the right. 208-636-3036. There are many hiking trails in the area if you need an excuse to take a relaxing dip. During the winter months you can reach Burgdorf via the groomed snowmobile trail. No snowmobile? You can rent snowmobiles from our friends at Cheap Thrills Rentals or you can cross country ski or dog sled in.
Gold Fork
This is another developed resort. You can reach this from Hwy 55. If you miss the turnoff south of Donnelly, turn east on East Roseberry Road (across from the gas station) and follow the road to the hot springs. Roseberry road turns into Gold Fork Road and goes to the south about a mile past the Roseberry Store and museum. You will find a well developed pools ranging in temperature from 94 to 108 degrees F. There are a limited number of overnight camping spots and Yurt rentals. No power hook-ups, weekly septic pump-outs available. Summer hours of operation at 10 AM - 10 PM (Sun., Mon., Wed., Thurs.), 10 AM - 11:30 PM (Friday and Saturday). Closed Tuesdays. For reservations call 208-890-8730 or 800-GLD-FORK. Handicap accessible. Admission - Adults $8.00, Children $6.00 (10 and under). RV Parking (with pools) Adults $16.00, Children $12.00. There are no power lines to the resort. No credit or debit cards.
Zims
Zims is located 4 miles north of New Meadows just west of Hwy 95. It is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It features an Olympic-size swimming pool and a hot soaking pool. The lodge is avaialble for all occasions and has a snack bar, picnic tables, camping, RV and shower facilities. 208-347-2686
Molly's
Just north of Cascade turn east onto Forest Service Road #22 towards the South Fork of the Salmon River (Warm Lake turn-off). Before you reach Warm Lake go 2 miles south on Road #474. There are primitive pools at this location.
Vulcan
Vulcan Hot Springs are located 5 miles further out road #474 from Molly's. There is a half-mile trail that leads to the springs. Boiling springs are cooled in a dammed pool where the water is about 105 degrees F. There are no facilities at this location.
Trail Creek
From Cascade turn onto Forest Service Road #22 and drive along Trail Creek to a parking area. A path leads to a pool built along the edge of the creek where you can mix cooler creek waters with the 122 degree F spring water. No facilities.
I don't have pictures of all the hot springs. If you have one you would like to share please send it to me at Becky@secesh.net. Let me know if I've missed you favorite hot spring. There are lots in this area. Not all are easy to find.
Other hot springs This is a little tricky to use. You need to be pretty good at figuring out the maps. Many of the hotsprings listed are very remote.
